How to see around corners
How to see around corners
This video shows how scientists at the MIT Media Lab (www.media.mit.edu/) reconstruct a hidden object using scattered laser light. Future applications may include seeing in dangerous or inaccessible locations, such as inside machinery with moving parts, or in highly contaminated areas. Seeing Nibiru behind the sun using sunglasses in front of the camera lens.
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN!!! I took pics of the sun through dark sunglasses and got some good results...would be even clearer if they were not spraying stuff in the sky. For better results I hear you can use a floppy disk as a filter or for the best results use a welders mask and see what you see!

Hula Cam- GoPro Hula Hoop (Watch in HD)
Hula Cam- GoPro Hula Hoop (Watch in HD)
Ever wondered what it would be like to be a hula hoop? Wonder no more! Music is Paper Moon by Booka Shade. UPDATE: This video is getting a bit more attention than I ever thought it would and I'm getting asked lots of questions, so please read this first if you require more info! This was filmed using a GoPro HD Hero camera, which is designed for action filming such as surfing, motorcross etc. It can be attached to your helmet or equipment, therefore it's very small and light, which is how I can still hula hoop with it on my hoop- it's a bit more difficult but possible! It has a wide angle lens of 180 degrees, which creates this odd effect. I personally don't get dizzy watching this, but apparently some do so please don't get cross- just don't watch it if you suffer from motion sickness and don't like spinning in circles! Yes, I am wearing dungarees! It is not an apron. The outfit change is due to recording in a few takes, and I simply have my jumper on in some shots and not in others, as I got hot. Although I appreciate your interest in my choice of styling, it wasn't really something I considered, I was more interested in the camera effect. This was also my first test of using the camera in this way. Once we have summer here I will be filming some more stuff, including different camera angles. So, if you're interested in seeing more, then please subscribe and I'll get working on it as soon as I can!

Invisible Worlds - Out of Sight 1/4.avi
Invisible Worlds - Out of Sight 1/4.avi
The human eye is a remarkable piece of precision engineering, but it is also extremely limited. Beyond the narrow range of light that makes up the familiar colours of the rainbow is a vast spectrum of light, entirely unseen. But what if we could see beyond the narrow boundaries of our eyes and peer into this invisible realm? Richard Hammond does just that, using groundbreaking new imaging technologies to take the viewer on a breathtaking journey of discovery beyond the visible spectrum, seeing the world, quite literally, in a whole new light. From death-defying aerial repairmen in the United States using ultraviolet cameras to seek out an invisible force that lurks unseen on power lines, to German scientists unlocking the secrets of animal locomotion with the world's most powerful moving x-ray camera, to infrared cameras that can finally reveal the secrets within a humble beehive, he shows how new technologies are letting us see our world anew.

4/18/2012 -- Please fasten your SDO seatbelts -- possible 'turbulence' ahead
The title is a tongue in cheek reference to what we are seeing on the SDO (solar dynamics observatory) download the most recent 48 hour images/movie here: sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov or search the date : 2012-04-16 to 2012-04-18 sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov What looks like some kind of disturbance or movement of the camera --- could be some kind of unknown or unannounced spacecraft movement/alignment. Or it could be a blast from the sun... OR could be interaction with another object in space / or process in space that is unannounced as well. Regardless of what is causing it -- we see the spacecraft camera make a turbulent move to the left right up down and diagonal. Then come back to the original point it started. I can't find any description on the SDO site of what is occurring. If you find anything , please put it down below this video in the comment field.

5200mm Canon Lens World's MOST powerful Super telephoto EF FD (updated upload)
5200mm Canon Lens World's MOST powerful Super telephoto EF FD (updated upload)
READ!! Canon 5200mm F14 Prime Lens. The world's largest dedicated SLR Super Telephoto lens. Extremely rare. Made in Japan. Most probably a government ordered cold war spy tool - it certainly wasn't designed to just look at the stars with the use of it's ND filters... It uses a mirror & lens combination. The front lens is massive. Rear drop-in filters can be used. •Focal Length: 5150mm •Exposure Control: Light quantity is controlled with the use of built-in ND filters, corresponding to f/14, f/16, f/22, f/32 •Minimum Object Distance: 120 meters (Approx 393 feet!) •Size: 500mm(wide) x 600mm(high) x 1890mm(deep) [20x24x75.6] •Weight: 100kg (220 lbs) without stand. From a Canon Flyer: "This is the only ultra-telephoto lens in the world capable of taking photographs of objects 18 to 32 miles away (30km to 52kms away). Having a focal length of 5200mm, Canon Mirror Lens 5200mm can obtain one hundred times as large an object image as that of a 50mm lens." "For focusing this mounted or fixed lens on an extremely distant object, two aiming telescopes are set on the side of the lens barrel, and the entire lens is placed on a rigid stand which rotates smoothly. Minimizing the overall length had been a big problem in designing this lens. However, the Catadioptric system that is applied to the other two Canon mirror lenses (Canon 800mm f3.8 & 2000mm f11) has succeeded in reducing it down to one third of the nominal focal length. In general focal length and optical aberration increase ...

Click link to Ssare with friends via Facebook! --- on.fb.me -- Someone suggested I put a camera on my head and filmed some comparison footage. Tweet this video: bit.ly I had already filmed this video, and my daughter is cuter. Isn't she a good sport? We had another rooster in a cage on the floor behind her, hence her 2 chicken comment. My favorite part is when she lets me put the chicken on her head and acts as if everything is perfectly normal. I'm trying to teach her the concept of "performing a test". She's getting is pretty well. C0nc0rdance comes out from behind the camera
www.youtube.com It's been several years of hearing but not seeing me. It's time I showed up on camera, and not as the dinosaur avatar. My apologies to any of you who thought I was an actual Velociraptor. It's been a sham the whole time. I hang my head in shame. What about me? Who am I? What are my qualifications? That's still my secret to keep, and I would prefer to remain anonymous. I will say that I'm 36, have over 15 years in research, and have a background in molecular biology, primarily of viruses and cancer. I'm still not used to appearing on camera, so if I seem a little stiff, I'm sure I'll get better over time.

Requim for a Camera (To the Bus in Aug, '08)
What you are seeing here is the last footage taken with this camera, as my worst fears nearly came true in the Tek. Although I didn't drown, my camera and other assorted electronics did, and I was subjected to an interesting ride down the river on an upside down ATV. So of course I don't have any footage of all the excitement. Bus is still there, and not much worse for the wear, although I hear more rumors about it being yanked before long. Here's what it looked like last month.
